Manchester City midfielder Rodrigo "Rodri" Hernandez has urged his team to focus on their position in the league table and not focus on their bid to win the 2025/2026 Premier League."Don't focus on the standings. Just focus on our level of play and all the big things that will come at the end of the season," Rodri said, as quoted on Manchester City's official website on Tuesday.
The Spanish midfielder admitted that City, currently in second place in the 2025/2026 Premier League standings, are quite far behind current number one Arsenal, at six points.
However, according to the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner, there's no point in City's players lamenting the standings. He believes the most important thing is for City to improve and secure three points in every match until the end of the season.
