Pramac Yamaha racer Toprak Razglatlioglu has been nicknamed Casey Stoner 2.0.
The nickname was given by Danilo Petrucci's racer manager, Alberto Vergani, who assessed that Toprak was a racer with a racing style very similar to the legendary MotoGP racer Stoner.
"Casey Stoner once told me: When you have one bike, just think about it and how to ride it the best you can, because when you look at the other bikes, you lose energy. That's where Toprak comes in," said Alberto Vergani, quoted from Crash, Saturday.
"He said to me in Valencia: 'This year, I was off the track because of the BMW chassis. When I stopped complaining and focused only on riding and what I could do with the BMW, I solved my problem," added Vergani, who believes Toprak shares Stoner's vision.
