Undergoing their first training session, two new Persis players admitted they were very happy
Two new foreign players from Serbia belonging to Persis Solo, Dusan Mijic and Vukasin Vranes, said they were happy after undergoing their first training session with Laskar Sambernyawa at the Pusporenggo Field in Boyolali, Monday.

Before starting training, the two foreign players were greeted by the Persis players, now led by head coach Milomir Seslija. They then introduced themselves to the team before embarking on a training program designed by the coaching team.

Mijic admitted to having a very positive impression during his first training session with the team. He felt very welcomed by all the players and the coaching staff.

"My first training session with the team was very impressive. They welcomed me very well. The coaches and officials also welcomed me very warmly. I feel very supported joining this team," said Mijic, who was once a member of the Serbian U-18 national team, as quoted on the official Persis website on Tuesday.

Mijic joined Persis from Uzbek club FC Qizilqum. During his one-year spell with the club, the 32-year-old defender made 29 appearances, 27 of which were starts, in the Uzbek League.

"The training conditions are excellent, and I'm very happy to be here. The players on this team are fantastic, and I will do my best for this team, the club, the fans, and this city," he said.
