Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk said the match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium will be a good challenge for his team.
Arsenal are unbeaten at home this season. In the Premier League, they have won nine and drawn one of their 10 home games.
Arsenal's record is only matched by Sunderland, who have also gone 10 home games unbeaten. Regis le Bris's side have won five and drawn five at the Stadium of Light.
"We all know they're unbeaten at home this season, I think, in all competitions. So it's a great challenge, and we have to be ready for a big fight," said Van Dijk, as quoted on Liverpool's official website.
Liverpool are one of two teams to have inflicted defeats on the Gunners in the Premier League this season, but this meeting will be very different from the first meeting between the two teams in August last year.
At that time, Liverpool beat Arsenal 1-0 through Dominik Szoboszlai's free-kick, after previously winning their opening two matches.
Currently, the two teams' situations are different. Arsenal are high on confidence after winning five straight league games. Meanwhile, Liverpool have won three of their last five matches, with the last two ending in draws against Leeds United and Fulham.
"I'm really looking forward to it, and I think everyone should be too. That's the only way to try and get a result there. There's no reason not to look forward to it, in my opinion. It's another opportunity, but first we have to recover, and then we'll focus on that," said the defender, who also captains the Dutch national team.
Meanwhile, on a different occasion, Florian Wirtz wants the Reds to return home from the Emirates with a win after dropping three points in their last two matches.
"I think we're in a bit of a tough situation again now because we've drawn twice – first at home and now today. That's not what we wanted, we wanted more," Wirtz said.
"We have to improve, but it's still a process, and hopefully we can get back to that level in the next game," added the German star.
