WhatsApp has launched a number of new features for group chats to make it easier for users to communicate, express themselves, and organize shared activities.
"Today, we're introducing new features that make staying connected and expressing yourself in group chats even better," WhatsApp said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called member tags, which allows users to assign themselves roles within each group. This feature helps other group members understand each user's role in the conversation and can be customized for each group.
WhatsApp also added a text sticker feature, which allows users to convert text into stickers through the sticker search bar, as well as directly save them to sticker packs without having to send them first to a chat.
