Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced that the Android app has received its "most comprehensive redesign" in ten years.
Droroff said: "The Telegram app for Android devices has undergone its most comprehensive redesign in the last ten years. We have released a new update for the app, and it is now available for all compatible devices."
He added: "There are still some details that need to be finalized, but overall, the update is complete and available to everyone."
Last week, the developers of the Telegram app announced the release of an update for the Android app, noting that the update brought with it a major redesign of the user interfaces, to make the app easier to use and more practical.
With the new update, the app's user interfaces have been almost completely redesigned, making browsing and searching faster and easier. A new bottom bar has also been added to the user interface, facilitating instant switching between conversations, settings, profiles, and other sections.
The app also received a feature with the update to rationalize device power consumption, through which animations and visual effects in the app can be disabled. This can be accessed by going to the settings menu in the app, and then choosing the "Power Saving" mode to improve performance and save battery power.
One of the new features that the application received with the update is "transfer of privileges when leaving the group." If the founder of a particular chat group decides to leave the group, all privileges will be automatically transferred to one of its supervisors after a week. When he presses the leave button, a confirmation window will appear, through which he can choose an alternative to control the group if he wishes.
