Barcelona is reportedly considering offering Robert Lewandowski a new contract, albeit with a lower salary than his previous one.
Lewandowski's contract with Barcelona expires at the end of the 2025/26 season. Previously, the Polish international striker was widely rumored to be leaving Camp Nou on a free transfer.
However, an ESPN report on Friday (February 6) stated that Barcelona is ready to offer a one-year extension, subject to several conditions put forward by the club. One of them is Lewandowski's willingness to accept a pay cut.
