Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid emphasized that data is the main foundation of the government's public communications, especially amidst the challenges of disinformation and the fast-moving dynamics of digital information.
" Because good communication also prioritizes data. Without data, you can't do anything," said Meutya Hafid while delivering guidance at the Bakohumas Forum entitled "GPR Outlook 2026: One Narrative, Building the Nation's Reputation" at the Borobudur Hotel.
According to Meutya, public communication without strong data will be ephemeral and easily distorted by other information flows in the digital space. She believes that narratives constructed without a data base will not have long-lasting public appeal.
