The Indonesian national cycling team has begun finalizing its long-term development roadmap, oriented not only toward the 2026 Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games but also toward qualifying for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Indonesian national cycling team coach Dadang Haries Poernomo emphasized that every participation of the Indonesian team in international championships must now be placed within a large, interconnected framework, from the Asian to the global level.
"Preparation can't stand alone. Every year we have to calculate the points track, not just for the Asian Games, but also for the World Championship and Olympic qualification. Everything is interconnected and can't be simply skipped," Dadang told.
