The Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) has confirmed that it only recognizes the Executive Board of the All-Indonesia Table Tennis Association (PB PTMSI) as the sports organization that handles table tennis in Indonesia.
"The Central KONI does not recognize any table tennis organization outside of PB PTMSI," said Deputy Chairman 1 of the Central KONI, Suwarno, at the 2026 PB PTMSI National Conference.
He expressed his highest appreciation to PB PTMSI led by Peter Layardi who has been full of enthusiasm, making efforts both physically and mentally, to maintain PB PTMSI amidst the dynamics of Indonesian table tennis which is characterized by organizational dualism with the presence of the new organization Indonesia Pingpong League (IPL).
