Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in the Wedding district and marched towards Leopold Square, chanting slogans in solidarity with Gaza. They carried banners demanding an end to the killing and calling for the Palestinian people to be granted their freedom. They also expressed their rejection of the German government's support for Israel, particularly in the military sphere, despite the violations committed against the Palestinians.
Under tight security measures, German police intervened to disperse protesters in Leopold Square and arrested at least four people.
In the same vein, the French capital, Paris, witnessed a demonstration on Saturday in solidarity with Palestine, in response to a call issued by civil society associations and organizations. Hundreds of people participated in the demonstration to protest what they described as the "discrimination and oppression" suffered by the Palestinian people.
This comes at a time when Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in effect in Gaza since October 10, 2025, resulting in the martyrdom of 576 Palestinians, in addition to preventing the entry of agreed quantities of humanitarian aid into the sector.
Since October 8, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been waging a large-scale war on Gaza, which has lasted two years and resulted in the martyrdom of more than 72,000 Palestinians and the injury of more than 171,000, most of them children and women, in addition to the destruction of about 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure.
