Newcastle United advanced to the next round of the FA Cup after defeating Aston Villa 3-1 in the fourth round at Villa Park, early Sunday morning WIB.
Having fallen behind early on, the Magpies rallied in the second half to turn the game around with two goals from Sandro Tonali and one from Nick Woltemade, according to the FA website.
Aston Villa played aggressively from the start. The home side's pressure paid off in the 14th minute when Tammy Abraham capitalized on Douglas Luiz's through ball.
Abraham calmly slotted past Newcastle goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale to give Villa a 1-0 lead.
The situation changed towards the end of the first half. Villa goalkeeper Marco Bizot was shown a red card for a foul.
The incident forced Villa to make a goalkeeper change and play with 10 men for the entire second half.
