Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe said his squad would be ready to attack at Manchester City's home ground, the Etihad Stadium, when the two teams meet in the second leg of the 2025/2026 English League Cup semi-finals on Thursday morning WIB.
"First of all, of course, we have to try to win the game. We have to be disciplined and attack. Let's see if we can do that," Howe said, as quoted on Newcastle United's website on Wednesday.
The 48-year-old tactician admitted Newcastle would face a tough battle. They lost the first leg 2-0 and will face the second leg at Manchester City.
