Oleksandr Usyk has revealed his target for a return to the ring in March 2026.
Former undisputed world heavyweight champion (above 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk has revealed his target to return to the ring in March, amidst the increasingly competitive world heavyweight division that has been filled with several important developments since the start of the year.

"Maybe in March (2026), (I) will return to the ring," said Oleksandr Usyk in a SecondsOut report quoted.

The heavyweight division is currently the center of attention in the boxing world. Since January, news coverage has been dominated by the return of former world champion Tyson Fury, the crowning of Fabio Wardley as World Boxing Organization (WBO) champion, and the tragic accident involving former world champion Anthony Joshua. These events have reignited the heavyweight competition.

Usyk last fought in July 2025 against Daniel Dubois in a rematch at Wembley Stadium, London. In that fight, Usyk was dominant, stopping Dubois via knockout in the fifth round.
