Persis Solo officially announced the arrival of versatile player Dejan Tumbas in the mid-season transfer window to cover the remainder of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League competition.
Quoted from the club's official website, Monday, Persis Solo hopes that the arrival of Dejan Tumbas can increase the attacking power of Laskar Sambernyawa after previously wearing the Persebaya Surabaya uniform.
Tumbas admitted that he was happy to get the opportunity and be part of Persis and he said he was enthusiastic and couldn't wait to start playing.
"I feel very happy and proud to join Persisi, a club with a strong identity and passionate supporters," said Tumbas.
"From the first moment, I felt this was the right move for me, and I'm excited to start this new chapter here," he said.
The Serbian player said his main goal in joining Persis Solo was to bring the club to a better position in the Super League standings.
He assured that he was ready to work hard both in training and matches so that Persis Solo could survive in the highest caste.
He hopes that his teammates will remain confident that Persis Solo will be able to overcome negative momentum and that the supporters will continue to support Laskar Sambernyawa.
