Semen Padang FC drew 0-0 in the first half when hosting Persita Tangerang in the 20th week of the BRI Super League which took place at the GOR Haji Agus Salim Stadium, Padang City, West Sumatra, Sunday.
From the opening minutes, Dejan Antonic's team put in quite an impressive performance. The midfield, led by Alhasan Wakaso, was convincing enough to break down Persita Tangerang's compact defense.
Several attempts by Guillermo and his teammates caused Persita Tangerang considerable trouble. One attempt by the home team from the left side of the Persita defense, unleashed by Samuel Simanjuntak, almost resulted in a goal, hitting the crossbar.
The hosts were awarded several corner kicks, but Persita Tangerang goalkeeper Igor Carreira performed brilliantly to thwart the chances launched by the team nicknamed Kabau Sirah.
