In Mogadishu, Egyptian forces were officially deployed to participate in the African Union mission in Somalia, AMISOM.

The Egyptian troops underwent comprehensive training and demonstrated a high level of operational readiness.

The military command confirmed that the forces are ready to carry out their missions under the auspices of the African Union. According to the authorities, their presence contributes to the stability and security of Somalia and supports the government's efforts to strengthen the country's unity and sovereignty.
