The Ministry of Creative Economy stated that gaming competitions provide a platform for young digital talent to experiment and develop higher-quality local games.
"It's not just a competition to create a game within a limited time, but it's also a space for experimentation, collaboration, and a space where fresh ideas can be born and become the seeds of new studios and Intellectual Property (IP)," said Muhammad Neil El Himam, Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology at the Ministry of Creative Economy, at the opening of Garena Game Jam 3 .
Neil emphasized the importance of digital talent in developing games that will impact the growth of the industry in Indonesia.
