The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is preparing a digitally integrated single data system called Sapa UMKM to support the business development of entrepreneurs in Indonesia.
Sapa UMKM is designed to be an integrated service center that connects various MSME needs within a single system. Minister of MSMEs Maman Abdurrahman, speaking after the 12th Annual Indonesia Economic Forum 2026 in Jakarta on Thursday, stated that optimal management of all businesses in Indonesia would be impossible without the support of an integrated digital system.
"I want to manage 50 million MSMEs in Indonesia. Can I do that using conventional methods? No way. The only way is to optimize and utilize digital technology," Maman said.
