Turner forces Martinez to submit to win WBA International title
Undefeated young British boxer Jack Turner proved his worth when he forced Juan Carlos Martinez to surrender to win the World Boxing Association (WBA) super lightweight (52.2 kg) title at the Echo Arena, Liverpool, England.

"After the third round ended and a thorough evaluation was conducted, Martinez's team decided not to continue the fight for the boxer's safety," the WBA reported on its official website, which was monitored.
From the moment the opening bell rang, Turner immediately took the initiative and demonstrated the aggressive fighting style that has become his trademark.

With constant pressure, hand speed, and explosive punching power, it didn't take long for Turner to take control of the match.

In the first round, a clean combination of punches sent Martinez to the canvas, sending a clear signal that the British boxer was at his best.

Despite being knocked down, Martinez showed fighting spirit by getting back up and continuing to engage in a heated exchange of blows. The Mexican boxer tried to close the distance and provoke a close-range fight to reduce Turner's advantage.

However, this strategy actually left him constantly on the receiving end of counterattacks. Turner's quick feet, varied punches to the head and body, and precise distance control made it difficult for Martinez to find his rhythm.
