Ubed loses, Indonesia trails Malaysia 0-1 in BATC 2026
Indonesian men's singles player Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah failed to open the scoring for the Red and White team when they faced Malaysia in the match to determine the winner of Group D of the 2026 Asian Team Championships (BATC).

Competing at the Conson Gymnasium, Qingdao, China, on Thursday, the player familiarly known as Ubed had to admit Justin Hoh's superiority in two straight games with a score of 16-21, 19-21.

"In today's match, I wasn't fully adapted to the court. I was a bit surprised by the conditions because I hadn't had a chance to test the court. Furthermore, Justin kept upping the tempo and his off-the-ball shots were quite difficult," Ubed said in an official PBSI statement after the match.
