"10,000 reflective vests": Hamburg imposes unprecedented punishment on its player Domby
This penalty was imposed as part of the sanctions against Domby for driving under the influence of alcohol.
A spokesperson for the German club confirmed on Friday the accuracy of what the newspaper "Bild" had published in this regard.
The incident dates back to last January when Domby was caught driving under the influence of alcohol, before facing additional charges after leaving the police station using an electric scooter.
Hamburg also imposed a record fine of more than 100,000 euros on the French player and suspended him for two matches. Domby made a formal apology for his actions, considering his behavior irresponsible.
