Alcaraz survives pressure for perfect record at Indian Wells
Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz managed to survive pressure from French tennis player Arthur Rinderknech in the third round of the 2026 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Tuesday WIB, to extend his perfect start to the 2026 season to 14-0.

Trailing by a set and a break early in the match, Alcaraz turned things around and won 6-7(6), 6-3, 6-2 to reach the round of 16 at Indian Wells.

"He played his best tennis, I think, in the first set, the beginning of the second set. For me, it was really, really difficult," said Alcaraz, who was briefly held back by Rinderknech's aggressive start.
