to Alwi, this gesture is part of his effort to control himself because the strong desire to win often gives rise to internal pressure.
"It's to relieve tension and just to calm myself down. Because the desire to win is so strong, there's a little internal pressure that I'm trying to calm down," Alwi said in an official statement from the Indonesian Badminton Association.
