Brazil national team coach Carlo Ancelotti is still opening the door for Neymar to participate in the 2026 World Cup after the player was left out of the Samba team's final friendly squad ahead of the world's most prestigious tournament in June in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Ancelotti has called up 26 players, including debutants Leo Pereira, Gabriel Sara, Rayan, and Igor Tiago, for two international friendlies against two 2026 World Cup contestants, namely France on March 27 and Croatia.
"Neymar can go to the World Cup if he is 100 percent fit," Ancelotti said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano's.
