Apple is still working on a foldable iPad, potentially releasing in 2029
Apple is reportedly still working on developing a foldable iPad as part of its product line, even though its development has often faced obstacles so far.

As reported by Macrumors, Monday, this information came from Mark Gurman's newsletter from Bloomberg.

In his newsletter, Gurman said that this large folding iPad would challenge Apple's long-standing tradition of maintaining the boundaries between the Mac and iPad as separate devices.

Some call it a foldable iPad, while others call it a full-screen MacBook.

Referring to this new information, the rumor that circulated in July 2025 about Apple deciding to temporarily halt work on the foldable iPad due to constant development delays seems a bit exaggerated.
