Liverpool manager Arne Slot confirmed that midfielder Florian Wirtz will remain absent from the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 29th week of the 2025/26 Premier League
"I think tomorrow's game will be too soon for him (Wirtz). I don't actually think he'll be available yet, but injuries can develop in both positive and negative ways," Slot said, as reported by Liverpool's official.
"We hope the injury isn't long-term, but Tuesday's game is probably too early. The situation is still quite tight next week."
Wirtz previously suffered a back injury in the warm-up ahead of the match against Nottingham Forest last month.
He was also absent when Liverpool won 5-2 against West Ham United last weekend.
