Arsenal have reportedly begun talks with midfielder Declan Rice over a new long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Rice currently has two years remaining on his contract, with the option of a 12-month extension. According to a BBC report on Friday, Arsenal are keen to ensure the England international's stay by offering him a pay rise to ensure he remains one of the club's highest-paid players.
Rice is currently reportedly earning around £240,000 (Rp5.38 billion) per week, while Bukayo Saka has just signed a new contract worth at least £300,000 (Rp6.73 billion) per week.
Negotiations between the two parties are still in the early stages. However, Arsenal have already begun taking steps to secure Rice's future in North London.
