CIPS encourages differentiation of digital services to protect children
 The Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) is pushing for a differentiation in the character of digital services in the implementation of the Government Regulation on the Governance of Electronic Systems for Child Protection (PP TUNAS).

"Without an approach that takes into account the different characteristics of services, regulations have the potential to be applied uniformly across a highly diverse landscape," said Rasya Athalla Aaron, Research and Policy Associate at the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS), in Jakarta on Monday.

The latest research by the Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) shows that PP TUNAS currently divides categories based only on low and high risk.

Although each platform has exposure to various business models and levels of interaction, for example: social media focuses on content exchange and social interaction between users.

Online games involve in-app transactions and real-time communication.
