Eight Palestinians were killed by Israeli army fire in Gaza in the past 24 hours, and three died when a wall collapsed

This came in a statement issued by the ministry, in which it said that hospitals in the sector received "8 new martyrs and 17 wounded" during the past 24 hours, without clarifying the circumstances of the martyrs and wounded.

Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect in October 2025, Israel has continued to commit daily violations by shelling and firing.

The ministry explained that the death toll from Israeli violations of the agreement since last October has risen to "671 martyrs and 1,779 wounded".

It reported that the total number of victims of the Israeli genocide has risen since October 2023 to "72,247 martyrs and 171,878 wounded".

In a related context, three Palestinians were killed and four others were injured when a wall collapsed on them, raising the death toll from building collapses caused by winter and its accompanying winds and rain to 28, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.

According to a statement issued by the ambulance and emergency services in Gaza on Monday, a Palestinian was killed and five others were injured, including two with serious injuries and three with moderate injuries, in an Israeli bombing that targeted a gathering of citizens on Al-Safatawi Street, north of Gaza City.

Since the agreement came into effect, thousands of Palestinians have been forced to live in partially or completely dilapidated and crumbling buildings due to the lack of safe alternatives and Israel's prevention of the entry of mobile homes, building and reconstruction materials, and tents.

The agreement was reached two years after a genocidal war launched by Israel on October 8, 2023, with American support, which left massive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
