Erdogan: The war on Iran is Netanyahu's war for power, and 8 billion people in the world are suffering its consequences

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated on Tuesday that Ankara will not be drawn into the conspiracies being hatched to ensnare it.

Erdogan said in a press statement: "We will not fall into the traps that some are trying to set for us, and we are managing the situation with caution, prudence, and wisdom, and we are committed to the rights of brotherhood and neighborliness."

He added: "The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has caused serious global economic disruptions."

He stressed that "the past 25 days have shown that the world is paying the price for Israel's war. It is Netanyahu's war for power, but 8 billion people are suffering from its consequences."

He stressed that "Netanyahu's network of massacres must be stopped immediately for the sake of the region's peace and humanity, and every country must take a courageous and proactive stance in this regard."

He continued: "The illegal war must end before damage is inflicted on the global economy that will take years to repair, and the door to dialogue must be opened and effective negotiations must begin that lead to tangible results."

This comes as the war continues for the 25th consecutive day, with the exchange of missile and drone strikes between Iran and the US-Israeli alliance, amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
