The drama film F1 The Movie won the Oscar for best sound at the awards ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre, Hollywood, United States.
This victory also complements the award previously won by F1 The Movie, namely from the Cinema Audio Society (CAS) which awarded the best sound design award.
"Congratulations to the team for this success," wrote F1 The Movie Executive Producer and Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton on his official social media page.
This film, directed by Joseph Kosinki, tells the story of Formula 1 racing, starring Brad Pitt as the main actor.
