Mohamed Salah's time at Liverpool has come to an end. The Egyptian star announced on Tuesday that he will leave the English club at the end of the season. His departure follows a mutual agreement with Liverpool, even though his contract is set to expire in June 2027.
Liverpool's management described Salah as one of their greatest players. The 33-year-old Egyptian striker has scored 255 goals in 435 appearances for the English club.
He has won two Premier League titles and one Champions League, a total of eight titles since his arrival from Roma in 2017.
Mo Salah will therefore leave Liverpool with his head held high. But he will undoubtedly not forget the dark period of his time at Anfield.
