Bayern Munich remains comfortably at the top of the German League standings, having opened an 11-point lead over their closest rivals, Borussia Dortmund.
Munich maintained their double-digit lead thanks to a convincing victory in their 25th-week match, thrashing Borussia Moenchengladbach 4-1 at the Allianz Arena.
Luis Diaz (33') and Konrad Laimer (45+1') gave Bayern a two-goal lead in the first half. Things then got easier for Vincent Kompany's side in the second half, as Moenchengladbach were reduced to 10 men from the 55th minute due to Rocco Reitz's red card.
The Bavarians capitalized on the situation, adding two goals through a Jamal Musiala penalty (57') and a Nicolas Jackson goal (79'). From Moenchengladbach, the team, strengthened by Indonesian international Kevin Diks, scored a consolation goal in the final minute through Wael Mohya (89').
