Google Play launches feature to try paid games before buying

Google Play is introducing a new feature called Game Trials, which allows users to try paid games for free before deciding to buy them.

As reported by Engadget on Thursday, the feature is starting to roll out for a number of paid games on mobile devices and will soon be available on the Google Play Games for PC service.

Through the Game Trials feature, a game's profile page in the Play Store will display a "Try" button. When selected, users can see how much playtime they are given before being prompted to purchase the game.
