Guardiola ready to rotate squad to face Real Madrid
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said he is ready to rotate his players against Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid.
Guardiola stressed that player fitness is crucial in a period as congested as the one City are currently facing.

"When all the players are fit, it's better to rotate them to give them fresh energy and fresh minds," Guardiola told the Citizens' website.

"The first leg of the two legs, we will try to get a good result," he continued.
Last weekend Manchester City beat Newcastle 3-1 in the FA Cup round of 16.
