Arsenal FC striker Kai Havertz said he is excited to return to Bayer 04 Leverkusen's BayArena headquarters ahead of the Champions League round of 16 first leg.
Havertz has an emotional connection to the German club, having spent a decade there, from academy level to the first team. He played for Leverkusen's academy from 2010 to 2016, before making over 100 appearances for the senior team by 2020.
"I think it's amazing. I've seen a lot of familiar faces, and of course, a lot of memories have come flooding back, especially for me now playing for Arsenal," Havertz said, as quoted on Arsenal's official.
