Persita Tangerang striker Hokky Caraka said he was proud to have been trusted to join the Indonesian national team again.
Hokky's name was included in one of the 41-man provisional squad announced by new Indonesia coach John Herdman on Monday for the 2026 FIFA World Cup later this month.
"I'm happy to have been trusted to join the Garuda squad," said Hokky, as quoted from Persita's official website.
This call-up is inseparable from Hokky's improved performance this season with Pendekar Cisadane. The 21-year-old striker has scored four goals and one assist in 22 appearances this season, including 18 starts.
This record equals Hokky's best record in the top flight, when he played for PSS Sleman in the 2023/2024 season, where he scored four goals in 27 matches.
