The Indonesian badminton team will be without a representative in the women's singles event at the 2026 Orleans Masters.
This follows the withdrawal of Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan who was unable to fly to France to participate in the championship.
"Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan has been decided not to participate in the 2026 Orléans Masters due to safety and security factors while traveling to the tournament location," said Indonesian women's singles coach Imam Tohari.
Thalita was unable to join due to travel security factors resulting from the escalating conflict between the United States and Iran in the Middle East.
With Thalita's absence from the tournament taking place in Orleans, France from March 17 to 22, the Red and White team currently has a total of ten representatives who will compete in four categories, namely men's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.
