The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has confirmed that Indonesian women's singles badminton player Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan will be absent from the 2026 Orleans Masters.
Indonesian Women's Singles Coach Imam Tohari said that Thalita could not join the Indonesian badminton team due to travel security factors resulting from the escalating conflict between the United States and Iran in the Middle East.
Due to this reason, Thalita was finally confirmed to be absent from the tournament which took place in Orleans, France from March 17 to 22.
"Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan has been decided not to participate in the 2026 Orléans Masters due to safety and security factors while traveling to the tournament location," said Imam Tohari.
