Mixed doubles pair Jafar Hidayatullah and Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu secured their place in the second round of the 2026 Swiss Open after defeating English pair Callum Hemming and Estelle Van Leeuwen 21-17, 21-7 at the St. Jakobshell.
Jafar/Felisha, who were once Callum/Estelle's sparring partners, did not face any significant resistance after the British pair were unable to escape the pressure.
"Initially, I thought they would put up more of a fight. But maybe because this is a match, the pressure is different," Felisha said in a PBSI statement.
Jafar also assessed that his opponent played less like a biased game rhythm and made many mistakes.
