Chelsea striker Joao Pedro described his first season with the London club as "special," but stressed he still wants to continue developing.
"I think my first year at Chelsea was very special. I came here to help the team. I believe I've performed well. I'm a player who always wants to improve and reach the highest level possible," Joao Pedro told UEFA.
Chelsea are scheduled to face Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their 2025/26 Champions League round of 16 tie at the Parc des Princes. He will once again be relied upon by coach Liam Rosenior to fill the Blues' front line.
The 24-year-old has been a standout performer for Chelsea throughout the 2025/26 season, registering 21 goals and six assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.
