Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli won the 2026 Formula One (F1) Chinese GP after performing consistently from start to finish in the race held at the Shanghai Circuit.
Quoted from the Formula 1 page, starting the race from pole position , the 19-year-old Italian racer showed maturity beyond his age by controlling the race throughout 56 laps without giving any gap to his competitors, including his teammate George Russell who finished in second place.
This victory not only confirmed Antonelli's status as one of the most promising talents in F1, but also made him the second-youngest driver ever to win a race in the most prestigious racing event.
