KOI Safeguarding prepares procedures for reporting and protecting athletes

  The Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) Safeguarding Task Force is preparing standard procedures for reporting and protecting athletes who experience violence or harassment in Indonesian sports environments.

"We will bring these standard procedures to every sport and will discuss them together to be implemented according to the conditions in each federation," said Tabitha Charmaine Sumendap, Safeguarding Officer of the Indonesian NOC , when confirmed .

He explained that the standard procedures are an important step in efforts to prevent and handle acts of violence and harassment in the sports environment, such as the cases that affected rock climbers and kickboxers.
