KOI Secretary General: IPL is developing rapidly to revive table tennis
The Secretary General of the Indonesian Olympic Committee Wijaya Noeradi, said that the Indonesia Pingpong League  has developed rapidly and advanced the sport of table tennis in Indonesia in the last two years.

According to him, the organization has shown real contributions to improving the achievements and development of Indonesian table tennis athletes since it was first formed, especially after being recognized by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).

"We see the IPL as the forerunner of a table tennis revival in Indonesia, as its roots are directly connected to the athletes and the initial regeneration process involves the parents of prospective players," Wijaya said at an event themed "Table Tennis Ecosystem Synergy for International Achievement.

He explained that the rapid progress was evident in the success of athletes such as Bima Abdi Negara and Muhammad Naufal Junindra Irawan, who each won a silver and bronze medal at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.
