Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa confirmed that his team's striker Kylian Mbappe will remain absent from the 2025/2026 La Liga match against Elche at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid.
"Mbappe won't be able to play tomorrow," Arbeloa was quoted as saying on Real Madrid's official.
Mbappé missed Los Blancos' last four matches, including the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League playoff second leg against Benfica and the first leg of the round of 16 against Manchester City, due to a knee injury. He last played for Madrid in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Osasuna.
However, Arbeloa emphasized that Mbappe's condition is improving and his recovery is on track.
