Prapanca says Persija still has a chance to win the title
Persija  Director Mohamad Prapanca said his team's chances of winning the 2025/2026 BRI Super League are still open, despite currently being six points behind league leaders Persib Bandung.

Persija failed to win their last home match when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Borneo FC last week, while in their other match Persib won convincingly 3-0 against Persik Kediri last night.

With all three teams in the top three having played 24 matches, Persib leads the standings with 57 points, four points ahead of second-placed Borneo FC and six points ahead of third-placed Persija.

"Of course, we still have a chance to finish first. Hopefully, amen," said Prapanca at the Ngopi Bareng Persija event at the Persija office.

One mandatory condition is that Persija must not lose three points in the remaining ten matches, including hosting Persib at home in week 32 on May 10.

"And of course, we can't afford to slip up even a little in the remaining matches," said Prapanca.
