PSIM Yogyakarta was held to a 2-2 draw by Persijap Jepara
  PSIM Yogyakarta had to be satisfied with a 2-2 draw against Persijap Jepara in the 25th week of the BRI Super League at Sultan Agung Stadium.

In this match, PSIM Yogyakarta actually managed to turn the score around through goals scored by Ezequiel Vidal and Ze Valente, according to I.League records.

Meanwhile, Persijap Jepara was able to score first and equalize thanks to goals scored by Borja Martinez and Iker Guarrotxena.

This draw leaves PSIM Yogyakarta stuck in eighth place in the Super League standings with 38 points from 25 matches, three points behind the top five.

On the other hand, the additional point makes Persijap Jepara move out of the relegation zone by occupying 14th position after having 21 points from 25 matches, one point ahead of the red zone.

Persijap took an early lead just three minutes into the match after Borja Martinez's volley beat PSIM's goalkeeper, making it 1-0.

Despite falling behind first, PSIM did not panic and were able to equalize to 1-1 in the 16th minute after Riyatno Abiyoso's cross was converted into a goal by Ezequiel Vidal's shot.

Jean-Paul van Gastel's squad turned the game around with a goal scored by Ze Valente after capitalizing on a loose ball in the Persijap penalty box in the 37th minute, making the score 2-1.
