Rajawali Medan assistant coach, Yosua, admitted that his team performed poorly defensively when they lost to Bogor Hornbills in the IBL match at the Tangkas Sports Hall, Bogor.
Joshua said the game had been difficult for his team since the first quarter when the Bogor Hornbills scored eight three-pointers.
"That made it a little difficult for us to anticipate their game," said Joshua in a post-match press conference.
According to him, the large number of three-point shots scored by the Bogor Hornbills was due to the Rajawali's weak defense, both in directly guarding opposing players and in rotating the defense.
He assessed that his team's defense was not working well, which gave Bogor space to move the ball effectively.
"The fault lies with us. Our on-ball defense wasn't good, and our defensive rotation wasn't good, allowing them to move the ball well," he said.
