Indonesian women's mountain bike (MTB) racer Sayu Bella Sukma Dewi again showed positive performance by climbing to the podium after winning a bronze medal at the 2026 Coupe de Japon Aichi International MTB event in Aichi, Japan.
Competing in the elite women's Olympic cross country (XCO) event, Sayu finished third with a time of 1 hour, 27 minutes, 31 seconds. She was behind two Chinese racers: Zhifan Wu, who won with a time of 1 hour, 24 minutes, 44 seconds, and Zhenglan Liang, who finished second with a time of 1 hour, 25 minutes, 10 seconds.
These results demonstrate Sayu's positive progress since officially competing at the elite level at the start of the 2026 season. Throughout the year, she also achieved success by winning the Thailand Mountain Bike Cup Cross-Country Olympic.
